We popped in to get out of the 10 degree weather and were very happy we did. A charming man took us on our own private tour of the factory and we saw glass from Lincoln's presidency as well as Edward Murphy's 1913 baseball bat made of glass. If you want to learn about the history of glass as well... More

A very nice location in the hills of Pennsylvania. We toured both the glass museum and the factory museum. Both places are well done and worth the time to visit. The glass museum has an entry fee, the factory museum is free. We lucked out at the factory, as the only group at the time we got a personal tour... More

The museum is very nice and offers a beautiful sampling of Dorflinger glass. I would like to see the staff as enthusiastic as those at the sister museum down the street. There are beautiful trails to explore and they offer lovely concerts in the summer. A great local gem.

A little out of the way but worth the trip and $4 fee. (For srs.)Be sure to make time to visit the Dorflinger Factory as well, which is separate from the Glass museum. That tour is free and the founder of the factory museum is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Great small museum in a beautiful setting. There is a fair amount of glass in this small space. The pieces are incredibly detailed. I was struck by the variety of patterns in the glass. There are some very striking pieces that attest to the skill of the glass blowers and carvers of the day, none of whom could have afforded... More

If you love crystal and/or history, please stop here. While the museum is nice, a must is a tour of the factory with the docent. After 1 hour I feel that I could give instructions on how to cut crystal. It was fabulous. They are expanding in July and is well worth a stop.
