Great place for an easy hike. Interesting history.

Ninigret has several trails of various lengths. Trails are level, some are paved with views of the pond. There is plenty of parking and bathroom facilities. No bicycling allowed.

This park is large but we went because you can easily get your kayak in here and the kayaking is excellent! Go around the marinas or even better in the marsh. When we got back from kayaking did a little bicycling. Very nice.

There's easy access to the pond if you have your own kayak and there are many places to explore. This pond is best paddled close to high tide since there are many sandbars. There's plenty of wildlife to view and there are many great places to stop and snorkel.

We've been here a couple times and it features a huge bay that's great for kayaking as long as you get in early as parking can be an issue.

Found this place by accident a few years back ,and have been back at least a dozen times. Like to go clamming and snorkel.Pretty shallow for the most part.A lot of boat traffic during peak seasons.

As is often true of locals, we sometimes overlook the treasures in our backyard. It had been years since we visited Ninigret and after a walk with friends on an unseasonably warm March Sunday, we have vowed to stop there more often. The trails are easy to walk and the views across the pond are terrific.

This setting has so much to offer! There is a wonderful launch for kayaks with convenient drop off and parking. I have used it with my family to paddle out to the breach way. Also here is a wonderful park for kids and a small but spacious pond adjacent for the kids to enjoy as well. They love looking at... More

Meeting a friend for a nice winter walk. Drive in and go all the way to the end. There is a composting toilet in the parking lot. Chose from a long walk or a short walk or combine them for a longer walk. THe paths are all very well marked and well maintained and easy to walk along. Some goes... More
