Nice walk along the beach. Lots of sand and shells. Early morning walk was great to start the day before heading out to other attractions.

My son and I had been to 1st beach countless times, but I now know what we have been missing! Smooth sand, beautiful view of land and water, and big enough yet small enough! We will go back!

Could quite possibly be the best beach in RI... recommend getting there early as the parking lot fills up quickly.

Huge beach, kite surfers and lots of shells when we went in the Fall last year. Plenty of parking. Great place to take a long walk on the beach.

My favorite family beach. I have been going for the past 16 years and every year they do something to make it even better, great lifeguards and staff, handicap chairs for those who need them,

Wide sandy beach and warm water in the summer. The gulf stream comes so close to Rhode Island that it brings tropical fish to the waters here.

Yes. Pass the main gate, and pull up alongside the pass gate. Visitors can be dropped off there.

Dog friendly from October until the end of April! If you need a fun place for your dog between May and October, there is a wonderful dog park about 20 minutes away!!
