What a wonderful gem! My sister and I had a wonderful hour-long walk in the sanctuary. We saw deer, turkeys, ducks, and a beaver. The trails were well marked and easy to navigate. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, too.

I have only been once and saw multiple species of birds, including a heron! I was so excited, also made it to hanging rocks and took wonderful pictures from atop the rocks!

A beautiful place of 325 acres with numerous beautiful trails. Well worth the small price of admission. We aimed at the Hanging Rock Trail. About 2.25 miles round trip from the visitor’s center. Maybe 100 feet of vertical and some scrambling over rock ledge but...More

The trails are wide and well maintained with several trail options, the kids will be able to experience nature and wildlife. Many of the trails are shaded and there is a picnic area. Bug spray would helpful on warm summer days.

The bird sanctuary was very cool to see, it is set off all by itself so it's really nice. They have great trails to walk on and relax.
