Very convenient and we missed all the Cape traffic. This is the way to go to Oak Bluffs if your traveling from Connecticut. It's a well run operation.

AVOID...... and save yourself aggravation. I purchased tickets for the fast ferry to Marthas vineyard due to the fact that it will be less driving for me on the way home because I live on Long Island and I had a tour scheduled for 10:30...More

Joe - we apologize for the last-minute cancellation and the inconvenience it caused you but unfortunately we had a mechanical issue that we could not remedy in time for the morning departure. Occasionally we suffer from mechanical or weather issues just like any other mode...More

Horrible. Boat broke down a HALF hour before we were supposed to leave the island and told us we would have to take a different boat (that costs 8.50) to Woods Hole and then take a bus to our cars. This added an hour to...More

Clean, quiet and relatively spacious transport. Decent galley with a full bar and smiling, cheerful staff. Dockside parking with very close handicapped parking. Only drawback was the port-o-potties at Quonset location. Also, some benches along the waiting line would be much appreciated by us seniors!...More

The Ferry as a comfortable ride gets a Very Good Rating. The overall reservation process and cost for tickets, parking, wait times, etc, get an Okay at best. Even so, it is still better leaving from Quonset Point as a So. RI resident than having...More

Loved it. The scenic views and minutes saved are so worth the high price. I came mid-day of course, so there was no perfect sunset or anything... but the views of the vast but small blue were still perfect.

Just an update on the above questions, try an Uber it should be much less than your regular cab. Also the ferry trip only takes 95 minutes not 2.5 hours.
