I don't think this place is open to the public anymore. I tried going there and on a Friday afternoon and there was no one there and only signs that said no access. I was able to see some planes through the fence though.

They have a good selection of complete aircraft and a lot of others that are in various states of restoration. Would love to see all of them once complete. Highlight was the A-6 Intruder and F-14 Tomcat.

Loved it all, sad they closed their doors. They gave tours and I was free to able to take pictures. If it ever gets funding I would revisit.

Lots of vintage airplanes representing many of the nations wars and conflicts. Great little gift shop and lots of knowledgable volunteers, many war vets themselves.

Too many old vets there that get off on their war stories. It is good to take the kids. It is not the Smithsonian which is free.
