I live very close by Apponaug Village and so am through the area frequently. If is a pretty New England spot but certainly NOT somewhere to go out of your way to see. A few shops and restaurants, Town Hall...

The re-construction of the roads in this area is phasing down. A new traffic pattern has been instituted. The shops and restaurants are still open but be prepared for delays. It will be a nicer area to walk once all of the construction is completed....More

There is lots of construction there right now but all the businesses are open. I live near here and drive through it all the time but have only visited 1 place. There really is not much of Interest there.

History from the 17th through the 20th century. A few small restaurants and shops rapidly being taken over by contemporary suburban sprawl. Not all buildings are open for viewing.
