Some low priced or good deal options but much of the same at most of the booths. The biscuit store at the end as you walk outside had awesome breakfast biscuit sandwich. The leather/ wallet booth was also good quality and reasonable. You can get...More

Somethings were a bit unusual. There was a nice assortment of reed baskets and Vera Bradley bags. But, for the most part it was your typical sweatshirts and souvenirs. They were fairly priced. It was a nice place to walk.

This market is very overrated. Many duplicate vendors selling the same products. No bargains to be found. Jewelry vendors, clothing vendors, food vendors. Typical market vendors without the ability to negotiate.

Was there with family for Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed the vendors. Many different items for sale. Souvenirs, jewelry, food, art in different forms, sea grass baskets were a few items to be found. There were musicians playing and Christmas Carolers singing. Very entertaining.

Plan on spending some time here. Local craftspeople displaying their wares plus a few flea market types. Be sure to visit Miss Vicki's sweet-grass baskets, located near the office. She and her daughter make all the baskets and they are beautiful. She will deal!

The Charleston City Market never disappoints. ALWAYS find something I didn't know I needed/wanted. Can be crowded but worth the walk-through.

There are no baggage restrictions that I am aware of. However, the market is crowded and it will be awkward trying to move about with large bags.

I am Not sure about that... didn't see any dogs on leashes in the market area. We live here in Charleston but I've never brought our dogs into the market.
