The market had many vendors. We purchased two Sweetgrass Baskets from two different vendors. The history of the baskets are fascinating. Look for Corey at the front of the market. His baskets are truly beautiful and well worth the price.

Everything under the sun can be found in this place. Be prepared to spend the better part of a day. From crafts to bath products, produce, jewelery, souvenirs, you name it you will find it at City Market

We enjoyed shopping in the city market. It was interesting to learn that the market was originally used by slaves to sell their own wares. An added bonus is that it is covered so you get a chance to get out of the sun!

A large variety of quality crafts including overpriced sweet grass baskets. Worth the trip and time spent there.

This was in our walking route of the city. It was very interesting to see everything that was offered here. If you get a chance to visit while in Charleston, I highly recommend you do.

Had lots of fun shopping for unique gifts. Loved the t-towels and hats. A bit hot at times but tons of fun jewelry too.

This is a good place to take a stroll and pick up some souvenirs. The shops around the actual market were better to me! We went one day around 5 and a lot of vendors were already packing up, so I recommend going earlier even...More

Market had plenty of traditional local arts and crafts. The items were a bit pricey. Plenty of nice stores and restaurants near by.

I was thrilled with the Market- completely exceeded my expectations. Was able to purchase a number of holiday and hostess gifts and the vendors were so nice. Make time to walk through.

Has a few local crafts for sale, but mostly standard tourist stuff. We are not interested in shopping, so not a draw for us.

I have been there several times and have never seen a wheelchair rental available. I did bring my mother here on her rollator and she had no problem getting around.

HI There, I honestly do not know, I would call the hotel and ask them. Best using a car to get around in the area, everything is about .5-1 ml away for good food shopping etc.
