I'm not an aquarium guy but this impressed me from the variety of the fish, the 2 story high glass tank with sharks, turtles and multiple fish all co-habitating, presentation (a diver goes into the tank to show and explain), to the turtle rescue center,...More

This is not your typical aquarium. Yes, there's lots of fish and other marine life in beautiful and informative exhibits but the outdoor exhibit with numerous species of birds plus the turtle hospital really makes this aquarium unique. Plus, the location right on the water...More

Expect the unexpected at this delightful aquarium. A bald eagle? And close by, a Lego version of a bald eagle? Lego versions of all sorts of creatures are plentiful and delightful. The major tank is simply gigantic, containing shark, sea turtle, and fish of great...More

Very well thought out. Love the StingRays that you can touch. Very interesting hospital for the Sea Turtles. A must see when in Charleston for all ages.

Going on a weekday was a great idea as there were few other guests. This allowed us to spend as much time at exhibits as we wanted to without feeling rushed. The sea turtles were really neat to see and learn about their individual stories!
