When we came, there were several school trips also at the aquarium. At first I was concerned my family would not be able to enjoy the experience due to it being too busy - but that concern was absolutely unfounded! Also, keep in mind that...More

I recommend a visit to the aquarium. They have fun and educational experiences for all ages. Grandparents, Moms, Dads, teenagers, and young children will find interesting exhibits and hands on fun!

I thought this was a nice aquarium. Some of the tanks were very large and well lit. Not a very large place but worth the time.

Every city I visit I seem to always go to the Aquarium and this one in Charleston was one of the best experiences I had at one. For one - its laid out beautifully - and wasn't too packed even for a weekend. This allowed...More

This is a really nice Aquarium, a bit pricey, but the funds hopefully do go to conservation. If your a AAA Member, you'll get a discount. We walked through the Aquarium fairly quick, or so it seemed. Really only need a couple hours. We did...More

The South Carolina Aquarium is well worth an extended visit. When I was there, they had a mermaid show as well as an underwater pirate show in the main tank. The large ocean tank has an incredible collection of aquatic life, all of which is...More

We enjoyed our visit. It was a bit pricey and definitely geared for children. We liked it though and would go again.

I saw moms with kids in strollers. They got a bit antsy but I did see a mom with a toddler at the touch tank.
