We just had to see this historical military college and take some photos, students were not around and we were able to drive around the campus and stop in the gift shop.

This was a walking stop on a bus tour of Charleston, allowing me to check it off on my minor bucket list. Beautifully landscaped and very well maintained campus, steeped in Southern tradition. Old Geezers like me should not be surprised to find female cadets...More

Right off the bat, I'm prejudiced, BUT, this is a great, and free, ide trip while in the Holy City. Go on a Friday afternoon, around 3:30 and watch the dress parade when the Corps is in. The band plays, the cannons fire, and the...More

Interesting campus tour. Many military artifacts have been donated and are now campus attractions. The stained glass panels in the chapel and the giant class ring are the high lights.

The buildings here are steeped in history. Make sure to go inside the church and see the stained glass panels. Each one has a plaque with its history underneath. Take time to stroll around.

Yes, you can walk around and walk into some of the buildings. There are no reservations required. The parades are only on Fridays during the school year and are typically at 3:30pm.
