Beautiful campus in the neck area of historic downtown Charleston. 2300 cadets in uniform who can answer questions. If a cadet does not answer, don't worry. He/she is a lowly knob/freshman. They are not at liberty to chat. Loads of history and a gorgeous campus....More

The Citadel has been part of Charleston for years and years! The campus is beautiful. If you are in town on Friday during the school year the school has Parade at 3:30. Also the bookshop sells great souvenirs.

A great place to visit. Seeing the cadets all in uniform and so proud and straight. Lots of history there. Also on the last friday of the month they have a full dress review with all the cadets. It is something to see.

This is a military college, with partial state support, known as the Military College of South Carolina. Beautiful campus. Parades are a must see. These are mostly on Fridays. Academics and preparation for life are fundamental in building the Citadel graduate.

Citadel is a beautiful place, loaded with history. We were only there a short time but the trip was well worth it. Must see the largest class ring in the world

I have heard there is a morning flag and prayer ceremony that is open to the public. Is this true, and if so, what time does it begin in February?
