Beautiful building with a lovely permanent collection. The current folk art and watercolor portraiture exhibits are must-sees. Wish the museum shop had more museum related wares, though - like more than a few postcards of the museum's pieces!

Fairly small. Wonderful wood-block prints. A nice folk art exhibit. Walk down to the shopping end of King Street and then cut over one block.

We've been to Charleston numerous times and never got around to visiting the Gibbes. Their collection was more extensive and varied than I expected and we enjoyed our visit.

It's a nice place, though small. I expected a bit more for the admission price, however, all art museums are wonderful to have. The building itself is beautiful!
