Only visited the cemetery. The cemetery tour was part of a Ghost Tour. This cemetery, adhering to the traditions of Unitarians, is unkempt--allowed to grow wild and poorly tended. Yet there was an ambiance within the cemetery that was spell binding. Peaceful. A lovely experience.

If you're into this kind of thing, the gravestones make for some interesting reading, nice and shady on a warm sunlit day.

The church and it’s grounds are beautiful. If you can, try and visit when the church is open. Volunteers give tours and answer questions about the church September thru mid-June on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-1:00 p.m and Sundays from 12:30 p.m. – 3:00...More

The church was closed but I primarily went for the gardens anyway. It is an oasis, very calming. There is a gateway on King Steet next to Domicile real estate.

The ceiling in the sanctuary is not to be missed and the church yard is a treasure. Some of the plants go back to the 1830's.

The gardens and the cemetery of the Unitarian Church are almost hidden. Walk by the gate and then wander back into a wonderland of oak trees, camellias and azaleas. The cemetery is very old, and the grave markers are a lovely mix of designs and...More

It's a beautiful church with some real history. It was there before the signing of the constitution! Amazing!

I have been going to this church since 2009. There are many good friends and folks here. Sunday morning services are thought provoking and the music is beautiful. And surprisingly, members stay around to talk and eat snacks for an hour after the service ends....More
