If you want to see a beautiful color pattern and nice houses in Charleston do not forget to stop here. It is charming to look at the homes and the way they are organized by color. The pink one is a favorite.

The best way to get to know downtown historical Charleston is to walk its cobbled streets, and it is a visual feast! My daughter and I chose a route that took us down Meeting St so we could visit the park at the end and...More

We had driven past them before, but had not noticed them specifically since there was so much interesting architecture to look at. We parked right across the street. It is a good place to start a tour because it is on the edge of everything,...More

They're historic restored houses that are painted different colors. If your walking by it's interesting reading the plaques.

Colorful row houses in beautiful and historic downtown Charleston. Worth a photo but not much else to see. All tours go by this area.

Nice historical houses but most photos are touched up or the houses need to touch-up as seemed a bit dull when we went...lighting conditions probably better at different times of year as well. Easy walk from other attractions though so worth sneaking a quick look

Walked around this area this past Sunday......which was a beautiful sunny day. Nice part of Charleston with shops, incredible homes, right on the water. Colors seemed a bit muted compared to years past. Might need repainting :)

While on a tour we went down the street of Rainbow Row, a few houses painted colorful colors. Homes are beautiful all around this area. Never did find out why they were painted the colors.

It's all pedestrian-friendly since it's an open neighborhood street. You can walk along the sidewalk and I'm sure you can bring your pup!
