Joe Riley Stadium is home to the Charleston Riverdogs, concerts, camps, and other activities. It is one of the nicest minor league stadiums in America, and is situated on the banks of the Ashley River. It is extremely popular in Charleston, and Riverdog games are known across the country for their unique promotions, Friday night Fireworks, and one of their quirky co-owners (Bill Murray).

While visiting our son in Charleston, we decided to go to a RiverDogs baseball game with our two granddaughters. What great fun! They won, 10-4, the bbq nachos were excellent, and the girls had a great time. This is Minor League baseball, so there is...More

Nothing stands out as exceptional about this pak. Seems a local favorite is boiled peanuts. Bought the smallest bag of roasted peanuts I have ever seen in my life at many dozens of minor league parks. Prices for real seats (non-bleachers) are pretty high for...More

If you time your visit to the city during baseball season..you have to go to "the Joe" and enjoy a RiverDogs baseball game. Great stadium with really no bad seats. How can anyone not enjoy a good minor league game??

A very nice park and a great ball stadium! Everything you would expect from a ballpark and then some. Food, snacks, and beverages makes a day or night out at the Old Ball Park, quite enjoyable!

If you like baseball, plan a trip to the "Joe." We had a wonderful time. We were even lucky enough to get to sit in the special sofa behind homeplate. Go Riverdogs!

I have attended only two games at The Joe and both were collegiate games, not the RiverDogs. Collegiate games here are sparsely attended - I'd estimate only about 300 people at both games I attended in a ballpark that must seat about 6000. Consequently, not...More

We watched a RiverDogs game and just loved it! My son caught a foul ball and the players were so friendly about chatting and signing balls. They have a little of everything food and drink-wise. We were thinking it was going to be a little...More

We had a great night at the game. Family Friendly and Fun. Hot Dogs, the mascot Charlie entertained the kids at the game. We were in the club with excellent food by Mercantile and Mash.

Everything is there inside the park already. Nothing close by except a Marriott hotel about 300 yards away. Lots of construction in the area, bit none yet finished.
