Join a 13th generation Middleton, for a personalized local perspective. End the tour in a private garden with refreshments. Walk with a local who grew up romping the streets of the downtown peninsula. The history of the city will come alive through the bricks and mortar still standing.

Martha was friendly and open to any and all questions. She was very knowledgable about Charleston and we loved the lemonade in the courtyard at the end! The tour was about two hours, but didn't feel long because it was all fascinating and entertaining.

Martha did a fabulous job of explaining the history of this beautiful city. It didn't hurt that she grew up here and that the tour finished in her parents' gorgeous back yard patio. I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits Charleston.

I am certainly a dog lover, and I don't mind. However, people on tour may be a little nervous around dogs. Please be sure to have the dog on a leash, bring water, and try to be curtious of others. Thanks, Anne

Yes, all year round. December and January can be slow around the holidays. We'd love to see you then! Anne
