We throughly enjoyed our kayak trip, we did a Sunset tour with Chesly as our guide. It was a completely different view of the Charleston area but super relaxed and a little more off the beaten trail. Highly recommend if you're looking for something different...More

I visited Bulls Island using Coastal Expeditions. It was a beautiful day. The ferry was exceptionally clean. The trip by ferry was nice on a sunny, breezy day. Our captain was obviously very knowledgeable and shared information on the estuary, the island, and conservation efforts....More

My family and I took a kayak adventure to look for "Dolphins at Sunset" in the coastal waterways outside of Charleston with Talley as our guide. It was terrific--not because we saw dolphins (alas, we didn't) or a sunset (it was beautiful), but because Talley...More

Going to the lighthouses in Cape Romain is a special tour because refuge management only allows this trip 4 times a year. We're glad that you took part in this "living history" tour and that you enjoyed your experience! Kari Crolley

These folks are such good naturalists and historians. Every time I have gone with them I have learned something new and have been more appreciative of where we live. They are very safety conscious and I have never worried when we were travelling with children.More

What an amazing experience for my kids, both older and younger. Dallas was our tour guide and he was upbeat, positive, and very knowledgeable about the native wildlife. We all had a wonderful time.

Hi, are there gators in Shem Creek? Do you provide local discounts? Can you do a shorter tour for A mom and 6 year old? Thanks, Natalie
28 March 2016|
Answer
Response from Talleycat |
Hello! You won't find alligators in Shem Creek - gators are freshwater lovers, and Shem Creek is an estuary system! However, you will see gators in abundance (and up close) at Bulls Island on a sunny day.
