Interesting bridge with a great biking, walking lane

A very easy drive with little confusion at both ends as to what lanes go where. Not nearly as scary as a metal decked bridge.

Roughly 3 miles each way with spectacular views. Somewhat noisy and can be windy. Great way to examine up close a "new" cable suspension bridge free of charge!

The architecture of this bridge is amazing. Try and see it both from near and far to get a better sense of the architectural brilliance.

A beautiful bridge and a great walking / running venue. It has become both an icon and a favorite place to get some exercise and view Charleston and her harbor. It's a must do in Charleston!

This bridge is amazing to either drive across or walk across from either end. It can be very windy driving across so be careful. It is 2.5 miles long as we were told on the Harbor Tour. It sure is an improvement of the old rickety bridge that was there before. If you stay in Mt. Pleasant there is easy... More

Beautiful weather, great views of Charleston and the Yorktown! We parked at Mount Pleasant Pier and Park and had a pleasant walk into Charleston.

This bridge is amazing. We made a special trip just to go over this bridge. It's intimidating but the views are breathtaking.

We heard on the local grapevine this super-new structure was completed ahead of schedule and under-budget !!! WOW !!! A very rare thing these days. This bridge is so good and convenient we now choose to avoid high hotel costs in the Charleston historical district and stay in the Mount Pleasant area. Just a ten-fifteen minute drive across the bridge... More

I biked across this 3x in 4 days and ran it once. It's a clean, clear, and popular bridge. It could do with better lighting, which means that after sunset, it's less pleasant/safe, but as long as it's light out, it is gorgeous and worth the ride/run/walk.
