For nearly a decade, the Brick has been synonymous with fun, known for their never-ending lineup of great music, friendly bartenders, and laid-back atmosphere. After going under new ownership in August of 2010, they’ve stayed true to what always made it great — but added to the fun. The Brick has 13 flat-screen HD TVs for you sports enthusiast, darts, a pool table, cornhole, video games, free Wi-Fi, and fantastic bar food. The menu offers tasty, freshly made, filling food (the kind that goes best with heavy drinking). We have a little bit of everything: burgers, sandwiches, tacos, wings, great appetizers, and more. Most of our food is made in house from scratch, and all of it is cooked to order. So enjoy! There is live music every weekend and team trivia every Monday at 8pm. Make sure you check out our band page and sports page for the latest in live performances and exciting sporting events. (The Brick is also the only 24/7 365 Virginia Tech bar in Charleston!)With a great beer selection, tons of weekly specials, the best live music in Charleston every weekend, and delicious mouthwatering food, it’s easy to see why the Brick is Charleston’s favorite tavern- there’s simply no better time in downtown Charleston!

We stopped here for lunch before taking a tour from the visitor center. The food was just okay, we were not impressed with the selections. We couldn't believe the charged us extra to get mayo for our sandwich.

So apparently this is a new location and it is actually on Ann st and it east bay st. Great this is, it is located kind of in the parking garage area so my car was able to be close by. We went for their newest gig, which is a standup comedy night that will now be every Wednesday! How... More

We ate here after taking a motorized tour next door at the Charleston Visitors Center. We dined on hot wings, seasoned fries, chicken salad with apples and sweet pecans and bleu cheese. One of our crew ordered a grilled cheese with tomato and lettuce. It wasn't on the menu but the chef was accommodating. She stated it was the best she... More

Brand new restaurant, we were told it's a new location after a fire in the old one. Luckily the gorgeous wooden bar was preserved. Had to get the deep fried bacon with maple syrup appetizer but it sounded better then it tasted. Burgers are outstanding and I would highly recommend.

This was our first stop when we arrived in Charleston. (Apparently this is their new location which just opened) This is a large and open place with a nice amount of outdoor seating. We had some drinks and each had po boys. All were good and the service was great. We sat outside. The inside was a bit loud for... More

Visitors and locals like The brick. As the name says, there are a lot of bricks in the walls. This old building with its exposed walls makes for a good feeling. The crowd is typically young adults with a light mixture of younger and mid aged looking for a great place for before or after dinner drinks.

We grabbed a drink in here on our last visit to Charleston because we saw they had some TVs and we wanted to catch a game. It has a nice pub atmosphere with wood paneling, large booths, and a big bar. The bartender and waiter were very nice and attentive. The beer selection was good but they had an outstanding... More

We popped in to The Brick for a snack and a beer. The restaurant was only 1/3 full but the music was great and the deep fried bacon hit the spot. The bartender was very friendly and chatted with us throughout our stay. Makes a big difference when you are tourists in a new town. The Brick is in the... More

We were almost scared off by some of the reviews then realized they were written before a recent management change. Glad we went! It has a comfortable neighborhood feel - and really good food (Try the shrimp tacos). Tell Ryan & Allison that Tom said hi!
