Taking a harbor cruise was the first activity we did when visiting Charleston and it proved to be a good choice. The guide was a retired History teacher and very informative. He provided great commentary as the boat made its way on our 90-minute journey. He also happily handled any questions that passengers had. Sadly, we did not see any... More

Piped in narration on the boat. It was just "adequate" and since we didn't have our own boat-the only way to get to Fort Sumpter. The deckhands were nice and greeted us when we got on and off the ferry.

My family and I toured with this company on 11/19 and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area, the crew seemed very skilled. The bathrooms on board we very clean, the cash snack bar was handy with 3 children and the beer & wine was a nice plus! I would definitely recommend this harbor... More

This was one of the first things we did on our recent trip to Charleston. Beautiful sunny day out in the Charleston Harbor. We boarded on the Mount Pleasant side near the battleship, but you can also board in downtown Charleston. Relaxing and the lady that was our 'host' onboard was born and raised in the Charleston area and well... More

Nice weather so were able to sit on top deck. Tour narrator (a former History teacher) had an amazing amount of facts at her finger tips. She knew all the history plus many other side notes on Charleston, the Civil War, the USS Yorktown......very impressed

Our group had a wonderful experience on the Spiritline Harbor Cruise. The beauty of downtown Charleston, barrier islands, Fort Sumter, the Arthur Ravenel Cable Suspension Bridge, etc. were breath-taking from the vantage point of our Spiritline tour boat. Our tour leader was exceptional in her knowledge of the area and especially of the history of Charleston from settler's days forward.... More

In my recent visit to Charleston, S.C. My husband and I booked a combination carriage ride and Harbor tour on Spirit Line Cruises. This was our last day in the city and it was a perfect day for a boat ride. There were very few people in attendance for the tour. But tickets were being sold . When we were told... More

We are very sorry for your bad experience. We had a mechanical issue with one of our boats on Thursday that prevented us from running our Harbor tours as scheduled. The reason that our staff seemed unaware was that the issue only came to light right at the boarding time for your tour and we had to make the last... More

Took a group of about 41 people on this cruise. The cruise was great, the tour guide was very informative and funny but the crew was bleh. I was a tour leader of a group of mostly seniors. Some of who are handicapped. I asked as we boarded the boat what to do with the walker one had. (The other... More

Our narrator on this cruise was excellent! She knew her Charleston history very well and really made the trip interesting! It's a nice, relaxing hour & half cruise & I'd highly recommend doing it!

We enjoyed a very good tour of Charleston Harbor with a very knowledgeable tour guide - that was a retired history teacher! The tour offered great views of the Yorktown, Ravenel Bridge, Fort Sumter and Castle Pinckney. And we saw many sea birds and dolphins.
