I happened upon this one day. Interesting, it is definitely the largest fire hydrant I've ever seen, but not worth a special trip to see it Just my opinion.

OK, it is what it is. Fascinating to drive by or stop and walk by. Not a whole lot else. But yeah, it's a really big fire hydrant! And sorta fun if you're in downtown Columbia.

This is a fun to see item. Go see it yourself and take family when they visit. There is also a large chain connecting two buildings and a large Gamecock to see in Columbia as well.

Very interesting sculpture of fire hydrant Locatedon drive to five points area and easily seen by car. Needs to be relocated to a more traveled and interesting location in downtown Columbia.

We were driving through town when "lo and behold", there was this giant crooked hydrant across the street. What a surprise----worth a chuckle, And Free!!

Take the time to drive by and get a real look. It is free standing, and little kids will love it. I’m all grown up, and I did.

Just the sort of quirky but tasteful artistic addition that gives a city character and invites further exploration
