The canal has a neat selection of trails--one on top of the canal's bank, and one that runs along the river. Both are easily marked and well-kept.

The riverfront park is a great area for walks, relaxing and working our. Miles of trails and a weight training area with machines that use your body weight as the resistance. Good views of the river.

We stopped here to stretch our legs and enjoy a snack. What a lovely place to walk. There were signs posted about tiger lilies but we did not see any. Great historic site full of interesting information. Restrooms also available.
