So the shops are really fun. Postcards are 10 cents each, or 12 for $1. Pay separate for the postcards, that's how they do it. Items are a mix - stuff from NC and SC like candy, lots of kids toys, and Mexican imported items,...More

Obviously, Mexico East and West are set there to attract the tourist from the Motor Inn and Campground. As such they're filled with Trinkets and knickknacks and doodads that are designed to suck money from the tourists pockets. That's not to say this is a...More

If you're looking for some things that you can't find anywhere else, this is a nice place. The prices are great for those who are in other states, however, in North and South Carolina we think they are average.

If you stop for gas or toilet this place is at back end of parking lot. Lots of Mexican stuff. Inexpensive items, but not bargain prices. If you need to walk and stretch your legs this place will meet your needs. The store is really...More

Very strange setting of stores and shops. It's a nice break from the road to check out some quirky stuff, and to find some touristy deals.

Anything you want with a South of the Border imprint can be found here. This has got to be one of the largest gift shops I've seen! ATM (cards accepted only with $10 minimum) and bathrooms can be found here as well. Sure it's kitschy...More

So many funny things in here and quirky gifts. We spent under $10 and left with 2 happy kids. 2 hours later, they are still playing with their alligator pinchers!

Why anyone would even stop in this place, I dont know. There is nothing in this place that that makes you want to buy anything, unless you are looking for cheap, overpriced souvenirs. Dont waste your time stopping here.
