We absolutely loved our time at Folly Beach. It's at the top of my list for favorite beaches we've visited. It's super clean and very spacious with plenty of room to have lots of fun with the family. That's what you'll find there, families enjoying...More

Easy to find FREE parking and the beach access was free. The beach was clean and was great for the kids to play volleyball and play in the sand. We were able to walk to the pier (pretty view) and the kids had fun doing...More

We was only in town for a couple nights, so we had to hit the beach for one! It's clean, calm, nice sand. Hard to find parking to get there early! It does have rules, as most beaches do now. You won't regret visiting this...More

We went to Sullivan's Island, Folly and Isle of the Palms, and the best boogie boarding was at Folly. It was by far the busiest. Parking was crazy. If you go super early, you'll find a close spot, but later, you will walk several blocks....More

My husband and I found a place to park about half a mile down from the pier and right by a public access point. We enjoyed 3 -3 1/2 hours of sun and water. The only downside was that I never saw any lifeguards or...More

This is a great small town beach. There is limited parking for the public and few public restrooms except by the pier and the north and south ends of the island. Besides that the beach is mainly for the local houses. Which means if you...More

We found the beach to be busy, with few amenities on the beach. There is a company on the left side of the pier which has an umbrella/chair service at $35 a day. Otherwise, you will need to bring your own cover. The beach is...More

The beach had plenty of amenities... chair and umbrella rentals, restrooms and showers at the beach, and several restaurants nearby. Parking is an issue and needs to be addressed.

I think free parking is available off the street if you get there really early. However, you have to make sure all four wheels are off the street (they will ticket you). I paid $10/weekday and $15/weekend to park all day... More
