If you can ignore the outdated amenities, the course is just okay

Some not so hot things about this place: 1) There is no main sign to the golf course. Bad - this is a no brainer. 2) Carts are slow and old. 3) Range balls are 10 years old... read more

Will be nonexistent once they put up apartments and houses where it used to be. The golf course and putting greens have grown over and haven't been used in several months. Used to be a lovely golf community in the 11 years I've lived here.

Regent Park used to be a top 10 course in the Charlotte, NC area. But 7-8 years ago, the current owners purchased it and ran it into the ground. They invested zero money in upkeep. They ran off all but literally a handful of members. All that it is good for any more is residential development, and they are about... More

This golf course has always been one of my favorites in the Charlotte area. The layout is challenging, but not unfair, the greens are very good - most courses have gone away from bent grass to the mini-verde bermuda, but this course has soft, true-rolling bent grass. Although in a subdivision, many holes are surrounded by nothing but woods, very... More

Some not so hot things about this place: 1) There is no main sign to the golf course. Bad - this is a no brainer. 2) Carts are slow and old. 3) Range balls are 10 years old; they don't fly straight and the entire range is something you'd see from the early 60s. Stuck in time. Range machine didn't... More

The reviews are pretty consistent with poor service and bad attitude. They overbooked on the second nine and both basically told us we had to deal with it. The starter was at the bar having a beer when we went into complain when he should've been out trying to keep the course playable and moving. There was nobody in the... More

We did not play a round. We just used the driving range and practice areas. It felt like a trip back in time. I wonder if any of the staff have actually been out there in the last 10 years. All of the signing was battered, faded, peeling and in a general state of disrepair. The ball dispenser is beat... More

Course is becoming run down. The driving range, tee boxes, and rough is nothing but uncut weeds. It's like hitting balls in a cow pasture. Greens were in good shape but price is toooo high for current condition. Limit availability to water and no cart vendor on weekends. All expected at $60+ a round. I have been playing regent for... Played the middle of June with four other groups and we never had trouble with the marshal. The greens were in very nice shape and putted true, the fairways were in fair shape but the bunkers had not been raked that day. A major problem for me was there was water was only available on the first and tenth tee... More

I played nine holes with my grandson and had a ball. The course was in good shape while the greens were ok but were really fine for our style of play

Regent Park Golf Course is a beautiful Ron Garl designed golf course that winds its way through the Regent Park neighborhood. My family and I very much enjoyed this course while staying at the nearby Heritage Grand Hotel.
