We took Cap'n Rod's Shell Island Tour and really enjoyed it. The tour was informative and we learned a lot of historical facts about the area. We found some amazing sea shells. Definitely would take this tour again.

We learned a lot about the history of Georgetown and SC. The only thing negative were suppose to be back to the dock at 7:00pm and didn't get back until 7:40pm. Captain Ron was very knowledgeable and showed us points of interest along the way

Capt. Rod's love of this area is evident and he is very knowledgeable about the history and evolution of the special part of South Carolina. We saw lots of bald eagles and wildlife. Folks of any age would enjoy this excursion.

I don't think they do Sundays. if you go on Capt Rod low country tours you can get the schedule. It is a great trip greatly recommend.

My husband can walk, but does have mobility problem and he is concerned about standing for 90 min. Will there be anywhere he could sit while I gather shells?

He can stay on the boat with Captain Rod or if he wanted he could sit on the beach depending on how hot it is on your visit. But Captain Rod will let him stay on the boat and relax while everyone is gathering shells. Have... More

To my knowledge there are tours in May. I don't know if they have coupons in the coupon book or not. I am sure you can contact them directly and they would be able to answer your questions better. Super nice people and you... More
