The Upcountry History Museum is a quaint museum filled with local historical displays and other type of historical displays. The guides are usually knowledgeable and it's a unique blast from the past experience. Fun for the whole family and worth experiencing.

Have seen some excellent exhibits here.Not sure that the permanent collection is worth a stop, but check the calendar.They often have excellent visiting shows. It is constantly improving and, if you are a history buff, you should definitely check it out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this historical museum- especially the World War I poster exhibit! It was outstanding!!! Some history museums are old and outdated- not this one.

Yes, hours on Friday 10am-5pm. Cost:. $6 Adults, $5 Seniors (65) and college students with valid ID. $4 Children 4-18. Children 3 and under free.

The parking is right behind the building, not far from the entrance. I can't say for sure about the handicap parking. I would presume there is a requirement for a couple of spaces, though.

The museum is not that large,but I guess you need an hour or so. Of course the time you spend will depend on the detail you choose for yourself. The displays change from time to time so you may want to spend more or less... More
