The At the Chef’s Table Culinary Tour affords guests the opportunity to sit at the tables of some of the city’s top chefs and sample their signature dishes. Tours include special access and experiences that go far beyond the normal dining encounter. Not only do you get to meet the chefs and sample their creations, but you also get to see cooking demonstrations (usually offered on Tuesday tours), eat in elegant private dining areas, and more. Stops include visits to: Nose Dive (Gastropub) Soby's on the Side (Deli and Catering)* The Lazy Goat (Mediterranean cuisine and tapas) Soby's New South Cuisine (fine Southern cuisine) Passarelle Bistro (French inspired cuisine) Beyond the memorable culinary experiences, you will also learn fascinating insights into Greenville’s rich history, culture and architecture as well. (*If a restaurant has a schedule conflict, a stop at The Loft at Soby's or Papi's Tacos may be substituted. )

John drive us to three BBQ restaurants. The food was excellent. In each place a person in charge explained the preparation method used by the restaurant. John was very entertaining the whole time, even in the van, with quizzes and interesting history of the places. We were in Greenville just for a day but will definitely be visiting the place... Very enjoyable tour of the Liberty bridge/Falls Park area of downtown Greenville. Guide is well versed on its history. I have taken friends on this tour before and would recommend it highly. Very lovely area of downtown.

We were in the kitchen with chef as he made a pasta dish with home made pasta with filet mignon and cheese. Next to a private wine cellar at soy's with one of... More

We just moved to the Greenville area and were having our son visit from Denver. We wanted to find something that all of us would enjoy. We were not disappointed. The tour was fun, informative with history galore and tastings that would satisfy any foodie. We were entertained and left to start planning our next tour. You will not be... More

All the restaurants were owned by the same company, so I was expecting them to be similar to each other. They weren't similar. I enjoyed the different tastes and styles, and they were all really good. It was really nice hearing from the chefs at each place - some were a little more chatty than others, but all were friendly... More

My husband is a foodie type so we have done culinary tours in most major cities including a couple in NYC, Seattle, San Fran and even Paris, France more recently recently and this one rates right up there with the best of them. The food was excellent and the chefs all very entertaining and informative. But the history of Greenville... More

We had a wonderful time at the Chef's Table tour earlier this week. John Nolan, our tour guide, was personable and very knowledgeable. It was fun and interesting learning about some of the history of Greenville on our walks between restaurants. The food and drink were excellent and we met and chatted with lots of nice people. We would highly... More
