Partially restored static train display consist of non working engine and a couple of cars. The train has not been restored but is being maintained. The museum is only open on some sat. and a few odd and assorted hours. Good for children to visit to walk through the old train cars. Not much else to see but it is... More

The Greenwood Museum is an amazing place that is often overlooked. The history and facts that are housed in this building will surprise you. Please do yourself a favor, and go check it out!

We routinely visit the Museum and Railroad with our grandchildren. We attend special events at both sites and are always pleased. Our grandchildren can spend hours there and enjoy every visit. We are very fortunate to have such a great place to visit. The staff are very informative and pleasant.

I went into the museum for the first time to attend a wedding reception held in the upstairs event space. Walking through the museum, I was impressed with the quality of displays and how they captured the history of Greenwood. It is a modern, clean facility with elevator and nice bathrooms. I will defintely make time to visit again in... More

This museum is growing. The train cars are being renovated, and the center itself is scheduled to be rebuilt. Great place for the kids and adults to view the old train engine and cars.

First-hard to find. Iphone maps and Google maps had this place in two different locations. Get there and you can only see the trains after 2pm on Fridays. (We were there at 10am) lady seemed starved for visitors. Had mentions various different buildings to go see their exhibits. It's not all under one roof. Strange.

Three solid floors of interesting exhibits. Too bad the brain is no longer on display. The flyer on summer camps looks interesting.

The museum has a remarkable number of railcars and are in the process of bringing them all back to life. Several have been completed and are really authentic.

We took our teenager here. Very picturesque location on Main Street. It's free admission, each member of the family learned something. I had a chance to view original newspaper printing equipment, teen was fascinated with the interactive electrical exhibit, and husband watched the film on 2nd floor. There is also a one-room school exhibit. The museum needs to update a... More
