The lighthouse is a combination viewing platform, history lesson and souvenir shop. It is an easy climb to the top with several stops to read the many signs and look at the exhibits on each landing.

This lighthouse is a neat attraction. It is not a working lighthouse, but more of a museum to local history in a unique setting. The story behind the lighthouse and the eco-friendly history of Hilton Head is encased inside the lighthouse walls. For less than...More

Beautiful area. Right on the water, quaint shops, restaurant, marina, and the view! Looking out at the water you can see fish jumping, dolphins playing, parasailing, and the ships coming into the marina. A must stop when visiting Hilton Head!

Do you like the view you often get from the top of a lighthouse? I have climbed a few in my day and a recent vacation to Hilton Head Island presented an opportunity for another walk up a lighthouse staircase when we visited the Harbour...More

I was on a solo vacation to Hilton Head. I visited the Harbour Town Lighthouse and Museum, listed as the #1 favorite attraction in the resort literature. The displays were interesting and informative. It was easy to climb the (107 steps I believe) to the...More
