Nothing special here to see. The number of shops and dining options are underwhelming especially since you have to pay $6 to enter the property if you aren't a guest. There really isn't anything to do.

You have to pay $6 to drive into Sea Pines Resort. Can be interesting if you like to look at gated upscale communities. The Harbor and Lighthouse are rather sad at the moment. And the Lighthouse looks fake compared to many lighthouses along the East...More

Visited there with wife. Very windy that day. Picture and information on each floor of the walk to the top. Information about area and about the golf championship that was started on Hilton Head Island.

We’ve brought guests here a number of times over the decades and have always enjoyed the marvelous scenery and excellent photo ops. Our recent visit was very disappointing, however, because there were no boats at all in the yacht basin/marina. The usually-photogenic basin was undergoing...More

You'll have to pay a fee to drive into the Sea Pines Resort and then another fee to climb the lighthouse, but it is well worthwhile. The spacious octagonal tower has multiple levels with displays related to the history of the area on each. There...More

We paid the daily $6 fee to access The Sea Pines Resort, because we read that this was a must see area in Hilton Head Island. The whole island was hit very hard in October 2016 by Hurricane Matthew, so there is a large amount...More

Not the most spectacular light house but the stories told by the displays on the way up were worth the price of admission. A nice way to understand the history of this development. Although the harbor was empty of boats, as they were dredging it,...More

It's worth the $4.50 admission to walk up to the top. There's a store at the bottom and the top but the staff aren't intrusive. Lots of great historical pictures and information on the way up the stairs. It's got a great view of the...More

Absolutely Gorgeous ... this was my first official trip to a lighthouse and i was pleasantly surprised ... going up the steps and taking in all the history was phenomenal ... the views at the top breathtaking! Loved it!

They do a very good job infusing the history of the area into the lighthouse tour. It was interesting to learn how the Crown Loyalists on Dafauskie Island would skirmish with the HHI rebels during the War of Independence. Worth a stop if you're in...More
