Stono Ferry offers a strong challenge to golfers of all levels, with a fair amount of forced carries both off the tee and for approach shots, and enough water to make it interesting. Holes 12, 13 and 14 along the intracoastal waterway are gorgeous and the breeze on a hot day was just great. The par 3 14th is a... More

Had the pleasure of recently playing the course in Hollywood, SC, nice course and start times were managed well. Arrived before our tee time and rented clubs for the day. To our surprise, the Ping clubs were brand new had never been hit. They threw in two sleeves of balls on the club rental. The club is open to the... More

I had a 1140 tee time and I was single party. The starter allowed two different parties of three to go in front of me. Two of which were elderly and walking the course. I was not allowed to play through. On the turn, my son (4 yo) and I went into the clubhouse to get some food. I was... More

The Links at Stono Ferry is just a short distance off of Route 17S from Charleston. The course was in very nice shape and the greens are challenging but fair and quite large. There are six tee positions according to your skill level. The course includes history, a horse farm along the 7th hole and three beautiful holes along the... More

I booked a tee time on tee off.com I was charged the regular rate at the course. They were overbooked, took walk ons ahead of scheduled tee times. The course was so backed up that we did not finish our round. This place is a little weird, if you are not a member, don't bother playing there.

I am sorry to hear that your Stono Ferry experience was less than desirable. Unfortunately, we have extremely limited times available through third-party sites. As a result, there was a miscommunication between TeeOff.com and our Golf Professional Staff. We have resolved the issue with the site, and I would hope you could tee it up with us again with a... Everyone at the pro shop was friendly and informative. The starter/ranger helped find our golf balls when passing us on the course. The driving range is excellent and I loved the course layout. Beautiful setting.
