Not only is the beach beautiful but the street before you actually get to the beach is amazing. It's lined with gift shops and restaurants. We have been to this beach twice now and plan more visits.

We only made it to the beach one time during our visit. It was low tide and the beach was excellent for a very long stroll. There were lots of people there but it was a little too cool for us. Public parking was nearby...More

Isle of Palms, SC has very nice, wide sandy beaches with wide protective dunes. It is purposely designed not to be overly built up like Myrtle Beach. Nice for families or couples alike. Parking was tough to find on the weekend but there is a...More

Fabulous beach, kids loved collecting shells, many rental properties just off the beach which are reasonably priced, and several which allow pets, as does the beach.

Great place to stay with a wonderful beach, good restaurants but close to Charleston. Just across the bridge to Mount Pleasant with all the shopping and other needs you could want.

This beach was free of huge throngs and beautiful to walk on early mornings. It was not touristy and debris-free. Beautiful walk along the beach and taking in the colorful houses and strolling the easy access beach!!

Should not be. Great places to stay either in Wild Dunes or on the beach front. Enjoy and hope you find a great place.
