Wonderful beach for families with young (or not so young) children. Also a fun place for older teens and young adults...dog owners, seniors and well - just about any age group. The beach is very wide, very well kept (clean, clean sand), lots of shelling...More

We decided to visit here since neither one of us had ever been. Got there paid for two hours of parking. Walked to the beach. It looked like any other SC beach....DIRTY! It seems to be for the retired. Nothing to do there. Didn't feel...More

Favorite thing to do is to take my morning walk on the beach... especially at low tide. The sand on the beach is perfect for kids - had my grand kids here 2 years ago and most of our time was spent on the beach....More

Beach is less crowded. Room rates are cheaper. Plus the food is great. Great places to eat. Coconut Joes & Banana Cabana

I go often because we live here, but there are not really any attractions... No beach bars. No music. No venders selling refreshments. No real attraction other than sand and water. More of a retirement atmosphere... Its' clean I guess.

Some in our extended family astounded a number of walkers by swimming on Christmas morning, but then we are a hardy group. This beach is tidy and well maintained, large, sandy and seemed to be a gradual slope underwater.

I love the beach, it's very wide and the dolphins are usually playing, lot's of surfing, jumping waves and the Logger Head Turtles are released from the beach on Isle of Palm.

Such a great beach. The city is still repairing from the hurricane but the beach looked great. There are plenty of great places to eat and drink right on the beach. This is the best beach on the east coast
