Overall I love the course layout and enjoy playing. The staff have a very stiff and unforgiving attitude which tends to dampen the overall golf experience. It's a shame because it could such a treat to play.

I played this course on February 6 and it was in very nice condition. Rough is dormant Bermuda and the rest of the course is over seeded. Played on a weekday so the rate with a power cart would have been $62 but I found a $10 off coupon (week day rate) in one of the tourist books. So at... More

course is quite forgiving...wide fairways, not too many hazards...still, scoring well requires some talent! have played wild dunes harbor view course and charleston national...found both of them much harder because of having to hit over marsh land staff was most cordial, course in very good condition...will return

We were 4 guys on a golf trip staying at Kiawah and this was our trip off the Island. It was quiet when we arrived. We had a coffee and a hot dog before heading out. Friendly staff in the shop and restaurant. Started - John? - was very helpful and we met him a few times on the round.... More

I played the Dunes West Golf and River Club outside of Charleston, South Carolina, on 12/3/15 while driving from Clearwater to Myrtle Beach. The par 72 semi-private course is located in a housing community a few miles northeast of Charleston off Routes 41 and 17 east of Charleston. The course was relatively easy to find. The course is advertised as... More

Great course. True Southern Charm. The entrance to the club house with the Grand Oaks and the moss growing. Truly a great course in a great place. I have seen fox, deer, and yes, even alligator on the course. Come early and take a cart out to the practice range. Make sure to schedule a T time...

I've lived in Mount Pleasant, SC for ( years now and have never been more disappointed than I was today with the quality of the putting surfaces. To be charging a 9 hole rate of $59 is absurd for that quality of a golf course. If this course wants to be taken seriously in the affluent Mount Pleasant community it... More
