Take a drive, walk or jog up one of the most beautiful bridges in United States. It links the historic city of Charleston to Mount Pleasant and the views from the bridge are outstanding.

We were so excited to see the sunset, but unfortunately it was too cloudy to see much. Still a pretty place though!

Went there in the afternoon ... Better to go in the morning .... Was very windy in the afternoon .. You should be in good shape to walk the bridge .. Steady incline . Great views .. In the middle of the spans ..

This is a lesser known place to visit in the Charleston, SC area. A "Local" recommended we take the time to visit this area. The history is that this was the 1st land based access from the mainland to Sullivan's Island. Prior to it's construction, Ferrying was the only option. Today, it serves as an easy walk or bike ride... More

One of the special views in Charleston. When you travel you will see it. It is open for pedestrians and bikes.

If you want a beautiful place to view Charleston harbor/ Ravenell bridge on one side and Sullivan's Island on the other: go here. We even saw a Carnival cruise ship coming toward us and turning right in front of us as it left port of Charleston. People fishing, in hammocks, sitting on park benches. Lots of bird watching, friendly people... More

The Pitt Street Bridge is one of the few attractions around Charleston that is free. It is a marsh walk leading to the bridge that over looks the ICW and Charleston harbor. Nice relaxing afternoon activity if it is not too crowded.

I visited Pitt Street Bridge with my wife and teenaged kids. We loved it. Beautiful views and great history. Great little escape from the normal city tours.

We go to this place with kids frequently to spend some leisurely time with kids while also doing bit of walk. Nice views and calm atmosphere helps one to relax.

I went to see this bridge in the heart of historic Mt. Pleasant and the day turned out to be beautiful. The walk on the bridge was very pleasant. Upon leaving I drove through the historic part of Mt. Pleasant and it reminded me of a Christmas Village. It was so quaint and peaceful. A must see!
