This is one of those places that not many a people know about this place but an important part of US history and history of the area. If you truly look at the history then you will walk away with mixed feeling about Charles Pinckney.

Some of the history on Pinckney was interesting, but we enjoyed the beautiful grounds so much more. Better yet, the history of the grounds really peeked our curiosity. It probably won't be of interest to most people, but we love any and all of our...More

The property is well-maintained with ample parking, and the museum has nice displays to educate you about Pinckney, who signed the U.S. Constitution and served as a governor, Senator and Congressman.

Learned much about an important historical figure in our nation's history. The rangers were professional and knowledgeable. The historic home, not Charles Pinckney's, is well maintained.

Being one of the authors of the US Constitution, this is an important part of our history. It doesn't take you long to go through the house and the walking tour shouldn't take long. I found the small display about Gullah Creole very interesting. The...More
