Fun hike, nice, well marked trails. A walking stick was helpful. Some roots along the trail, a few bridges and you have to cross the creek 4 times but there are rocks to step on. We saw 2 snakes. The waterfalls are so peaceful. It...More

3 miles round trip takes 2 hours. Moderate trail with some challenging spots. We were glad that we had hiking poles with us. The trail is beautiful and quite. Due to recent rain there were a few tricky spots but it made it that much...More

We took this 3-mile (round-trip) hike to see the waterfalls. While they aren't tall, they are wide. The area is so peaceful a hiker was taking a brief nap on one of the rock ledges. We took our dogs who loved it as well. Make...More

Wonderful little hike for the entire family, and quite a beautiful surprise when you get there! Keep an eye out for mostly harmless snakes!

Wow! A spectacular waterfall within a hike most individuals can conquer. Bring the kids and the dog and get outside a nd enjoy the beauty of Sumter National Forest.

I'm a mostly sedentary, out-of-shape dad and me and my three kids (10, 8 and 4) did this hike the summer of '16. I carried the 4-year-old on my shoulders about a third of the hike but the older two did just fine. Better than...More

I love all the falls in this area, but some are just really enchanting. This is one of them. Can be slightly tough coming back up for people who don't hike very much, but not a very steep trail. Love this one!

This is actually a two mile hike in and a two mile hike out, which is longer than stated in the brochure. You will have three water crossings, three bridges, and, there are a couple of places that are a little treacherous. Here you step...More

Yellow Branch Falls is a 50' cascading waterfall that is beyond beautiful. Hiking approximately 1.5 miles one-way through serene forest, this trail has some narrow uneven terrain and is considered to be 'moderate' in difficulty. There are three primitive creek crossings with stepping stones that...More
