This is the most adequate place to go to get info. This is the MB Chamber of Commerce. Other places listed as welcome centers, are nothing more than time share places and such. Don't be fooled. All info at the Chamber is free- brochures, maps of the area and nice folks to talk to.

Don't fall for all the others claiming to be a welcome center when in reality they are trying to talk you into a timeshare. This is the real deal with friendly people and lots of maps and brochures. If it's your first time visiting Myrtle Beach, I'd make this a must see at the beginning of vacation. Lots of reliable... More

Nice facilities, but watch for the time share trap. Lady told my teen daughter and spouse we could see Medival Times show cheaply. When asked a out the catch, it involved a timeshare tour and sales pitch. Disappointed my daughter, but we only had so many hours at the beach. Nice folks doi g their job, but I didnt like... More

We stopped in expecting clean restrooms (yes!), travel brochures (yes!), maps (not so much) and recommendations on what we might enjoy during our trip (FAIL). The staff at the Welcome Center are there solely to sell time-shares. They aren't interested in giving travel advice or directions, they don't know the best local restaurants, they have a limited itinerary of entertainment... More

This is a very busy welcome center, but filled with southern hospitality. The employees are friendly and helpful.

This is more than a collection of brochures and booklets, although you'll find an amazing amount of reading material and helpful guidance here. It's a very well maintained and beautifully landscaped building, with palmettos and rose bushes for your picture taking pleasure. Visiting this center is a treat - it made us anticipate our upcoming Myrtle Beach vacation even more.
