Walked along the beach. Some people were fishing off the pier and others on horseback rides. Found 3 geocaches in the park and took a short hike. Good place to visit with the family.

We would like to come back during the off season to camp here. However, a golf cart is a must because the campground is a fair distance from the beach. The pier would be a great spot to fish or spend some time.

Explore the boardwalk and watch people fish, relax and have a fun day. Store personnel very helpful and friendly.

You can reserve shelters for larger get togethers, go on your own or spend the day swimming or fishing. Large area for day visits or camping out.

I'm a season pass owner and have been for almost 10 years. I have never had trouble finding a parking spot nor ample room on the beach. I can bring my dog during "doggie hours: which make for more fun.

My apologies for getting to you late, but as you can see it was unseasonably warm during the first week in OCT. But we are now experiencing cooler weather. We usually stay in the mid to upper 70's in OCT. Yeah you can still... More
