T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station is quite possibly the country's only FREE living tiger museum. Located inside Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, SC, it offers families the opportunity to see tigers up close, through glass, absolutely free of charge. For those interested in meeting a tiger or an ape in person, we offer (for a fee)the opportunity to pose with one of the animal ambassadors for a photo. The animals spend only a couple hours per day, in the late afternoon, at T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station and funding generated from our photos and gift shop sales help support various wildlife conservation projects we conduct worldwide through our Rare Species Fund. We are open from mid-March to mid-October and hours of operation can be found by calling our listed telephone number.

Look, I know the reviews said the time was too short, but we thought it was perfect! There was quite a line and we completely understand that these animals have a limited attention span. We purchased 4 passes, one for each of us, including our 2 month old. Photos were fun, efficient, and fantastic. We started with holding a 4... More

This is a display of real tigers in the heart of a shopping area. They are huge. Their trainers/keepers go right in and pat them, push them, rub them, and do not get eaten, which is impressive. They spend most of their lives on a preserve. Worth seeing!

This was way better than I expected. The tour is a few hours long, and it is not cheap, but it is very well worth the time and money. The money is used for the animals, and when you and hear everything the people who live there do for them, you will understand. The up-close experience is great. You see... More

To say that I "love" the experiences I've had at the T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station and Wild Encounters Tour would be an understatement. My boyfriend and I have now gone to each location (in the same day) twice, once on 10/3/2015 and again on 9/3/2016, and each time has been an unforgettable, amazing experience. We LOVED it. Something that started out... More

the brochure looks like a great time but all they have is 2 tigers white tigers to view and anything else costs a fortune especially if you want pictures with the animals. we paid $270 for about 3 minutes total with 3 animals, I wanted more tiger pictures but they through in a couple monkeys which I could have cared... Thank you for your visit. We are sorry that you did not fully enjoy your experience. Typically, extra time with the tigers is not something that we do. You paid for an experience that did include meeting tigers. You were not required to interact with the primates, but adding extra time with the tigers in lieu of meeting monkeys does... More

This was by far the best experience in Myrtle Beach. It was better than an African safari. We got to touch and hold a lot of animals. All the trainers and tour guide were very friendly and knowledgeable. I know its 300.00 per person regardless of age but I would have paid more for this experience. We also got to... More

Feeding the tigers was a lot of fun. The full photo shoot is a life long memorable moment. The kids absolutely loved it but were terrified to pet the tigers until we started to pet them too. They do a great job of not making them extinct.
