T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station is quite possibly the country's only FREE living tiger museum. Located inside Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, SC, it offers families the opportunity to see tigers up close, through glass, absolutely free of charge. For those interested in meeting a tiger or an ape in person, we offer (for a fee)the opportunity to pose with one of the animal ambassadors for a photo. The animals spend only a couple hours per day, in the late afternoon, at T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station and funding generated from our photos and gift shop sales help support various wildlife conservation projects we conduct worldwide through our Rare Species Fund. We are open from mid-March to mid-October and hours of operation can be found by calling our listed telephone number.

Worth the price of admission. Beautiful grounds and you get up close with the animals (ambassadors). The Liger was impressive along with tigers, chimps, leopards wolves and other animals. Guides and trainers were extremely friendly, knowledge and passionate about their work in saving these endangered species....More

Price for pictures is extremely high. I donated to the cause but refused to pay the massive price they wanted for a picture.

Way to expensive not very good on pictures but great experience. They lead you in like cattle and push you out. For the price they need to take a little more time for the customer to each have a nice picture Fair to good

Short Review if you're borderline: This should really be separated into 2 categories - those that did pictures at the preservation station and those that did the VIP tour on the park. I can't speak for the pictures at the preservation station, only the VIP...More

We always stop by to see the Tigers when we are at Barefoot Landing. This attraction is free ,unless you want a photo with a Tiger cub or Monkey.
