Very nice and clean place to stroll on Sunday afternoon. The spray park is the ideal place for children to visit.

This is still a nice peaceful oasis even though it's sustained wind and rain damage the last six months. The river is so high that they have closed the boardwalk unfortunately. It has mostly azaleas and roses as it's feature so spring visit is best. Mid march to mid may. The rose garden is large but in need of some... More

I am excited about my new walking routine in which I have decided the Edisto Memorial Garden is that spot to try......With the plush scenery and various ground landscape you can't go wrong! One can stroll, power walk, jog,or whatever that fit their desire of " the body in motion". I am glad that we have the gardens here for our leisure.... More

We visited at peak azalea and camellia season and we're totally awestruck. This is a wonderful spot to stroll through gardens for really beautiful photos. It is quiet and peaceful....even has a boardwalk along the Edisto River but partially closed due to a massive cypress tree down due to a storm. We can't wait to come back in May and... More

Edisto gardens is a wonderful place. Would go here for walks when I needed to clear my mind. When I got married this is where we to a majority of are before and after wedding pictures. Edisto will always be special to me.

The gardens and especially the boardwalk has been terribly neglected the past year. Shame on the people in charge-this was the crown jewel, tourist attraction of this city. Something needs to be done soon or this town will go the way of Denmark, SC! The only good thing is the Christmas lights, Angel Memorial, and Hospice Memorial. Half the time... More

I remember coming here as a child with my mother. She loved the roses. This time of year there are some roses blooming, but the area is still beautiful. It is also very peaceful, especially by the Edisto River. The area has been upgraded since I was a child with new bridges and walkways. There is a playground area too.... More

This place is beyond words. Located on the banks of the North Edisto River, "The Gardens" as all of us call it is a genuine treasure. The recent bad weather has done some damage to the boardwalk that runs along the rivers' edge, but that doesn't detract from all of the natural beauty that this place has in droves. In... More

Nice respite for a short walk on a long trip, just off Hwy 301. Azaleas, tall pines, Spanish moss, old water wheel on river, gorgeous roses.
