We traveled to Parris Island to see where a relative had spent considerable time in WWII. The museum had exhibits of the USMC history with lots of photos of now replaced buildings and displays of old time weaponry and uniforms. We thoroughly enjoyed this museum.

This museum was very nice and definitely worth a visit. Very informational and neat to be able to experience a few things that our new Marine experienced during basic training.

We had a day to spend around Beaufort, and I had seen the reviews for this museum. I had no idea what to expect, but this museum was great! It is located on a Marine Corps installation (on Parris Island), and you have to show...More

I was in the area so drove on base to see the museum. The museum is a bit small and a little dated but overall a nice exhibit of USMC and local area history. The staff on site were very friendly and helpful. The highlight...More

Yes, the museum was great! I rated it 5 stars. :) I noticed the reviewer below me rated it 1 star, because they couldn't get on the base.
