The CCC during depression built this park. Not only creating jobs at the time but creating and preserving lands. Edisto and it’s black waters are intriguing

Stayed here 2 nights in a cabin just after the total eclipse. Not a lot of amenities compared to other state parks in SC but a nice place to stay just a short drive from Charleston, SC. Friendly staff and well mantained.

Stopped for one night at this campground on a return trip from Florida in February. Nice clean campground. Site we selected was full-hookups, which is why we choose this park. We reserved by telephone the night before and had no problems with getting the reservation.

We stayed here before hurricane Matthew came through so our stay was cut short. It is a very nice campground with roomy sites and very clean bathrooms. The hosts (daytime and nite-time) were very helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed kayaking on the river. The...More

I loved this park. The camping area was just fine for me. I had site 17 but would try to get one with more shade during the summer. I loved all of the wildlife including an owl, turtle, frogs, and one unwanted copperhead that showed...More
