Explore our warm and friendly little museum, featuring the history of cowboys, rodeo, pioneers, mercantile, and military. Also learn about the area's dinosaurs, archaeology and geology. Pick up a great souvenir or gift at our gift shop. Bring the kids! They will love the western activity table, dress-up trunk and discovery boxes. Our Visitor Center is well stocked with maps, travel guides and travel information.

They always have family activities planned. Once a month they have a discovery day for you to bring young children to explore. They also have a few hands on exhibits to keep kids interested. Worth it to stop by.

While there was a lot of information regarding the early history of the area. The staff did not seem to know a lot about the area. There were some great books in their book store.Would be a great stop for families with children.
