We took a side trip on the way to Juliana airport to visit this Historical church in Lampa. A highlight was the copy of the plaster statue of "La Pieta" by Michelangelo, specially brought in from the Vatican. With a side trip.
Our guide suggested stopping here on the way to the airport. What a charming city with a beautiful church and a fascinating museum in the municipal center. Really unspoiled with no tourist facilities, just an incredible city/village that is absolutely authentic.
