We visited here while in Deadwood. It was a very interesting cemetery. We visited Wild Bills and Jane's burial site. There were many interesting tombstones. There were some that just were labeled father and baby. If you walk up by the flag you can get...More

Beautiful cemetery! There was a fee to get in, but you get a map and can visit many beautiful, historic graves. Peaceful and quiet among tall trees on a hillside. Loved this!

Yes famous folks are buried here but it is a very beautiful graveyard. Expect a lot of hills but beautiful views of the town. A lot of wild life roams around here too. Thought it was strange (even though its a "closed cemetery") for them...More

We took a bus tour and enjoyed it very much. The driver knew a lot about the local history and we had several photo opportunities at the cemetery.

The entire cemetery is on a hillside. The walkways can be steep, but much of it is paved, so perhaps a wheelchair could be used.

I haven't been in winter, but I can tell you the road to get up to the cemetery was a small winding road so if there is snow or ice, it would probably be treacherous. I've just moved to MT from the South and it seems that... More

We did not take it, but there is a tour bus that makes the trip there. However it is right in town, and there is plenty of free parking at the cemetery.
