Deadwood has some great history. Stopped in and enjoyed #10 Saloon. Checked out the Silverado Casino and wandered Main Street. If you’re traveling through make a stop here.... travel safe...

The town is a good place to spend the day walking around, visiting the shops and catching the re enactments that take place in different locations throughout the day.

The town is dressed up very nicely. There are several places to see. My wife and I spent two full days in Deadwood and never ran out of things to do.

As far as I know the gunfights etc are from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
